When I hurt my knee, I had a lot of down time and said I was going to blog more. I really haven’t been living up to it though, so I want to fix that. I don’t read a whole lot but from time to time I will pick up something of interest. Most of the time, its something fight related or written by a fighter. I read the Ken Shamrock book, the Pulver book and most recently the Forrest Griffin book. I will go and read something unrelated every now and then. I think my favorite book ever was “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”.

I had my 5 month followup today with Dr. Pavlovich today. I was originally supposed to see him on Wednesday but ended up switching it to today. I had forgotten all about it until about 3am last night. I was in the middle of killing Nazi Zombies playing Call of Duty on Xbox and my phone started beeping at me about my 8:30am appointment! Whenever people hear “ACL surgery” they assume the worst. I know for a long time, an ACL surgery was the end of an athletes career. I have gotten so many emails from people telling me it ended their football, soccer, track and basketball careers. Tomorrow will be 8 weeks since surgery and I am amazed at how much more I am able to do.
