Before my last fight, I was trying to buy a house but my lease was expiring shortly before I fought. Instead of signing a new lease, I decided to move back to my parent’s house to avoid rushing to find a house. I put in an offer on a house but it was never accepted and then I fought Jeremy Stephens at Ultimate Fight Night. As everyone knows, I had ACL surgery a month later and have been recovering since. My next fight…

I am fighting Hermes Franca on Saturday February 7th in Tampa, Florida at the USF Sun Dome. I believe it is going to be an Ultimate Fight Night card on Spike TV.
Hermes is a VERY dangerous opponent and has:
- Fought Sean Sherk for the UFC Lightweght Title losing a 5 round decision
- A record of 9-4 in the UFC/WEC, 20-7 as a Pro… all his losses coming by Decision
- Coming off a win over Marcus Aurelio and has wins over TUF5 Winner Nate Diaz, WEC Champ Jamie Varner, IFL Champ Ryan Schultz, TUF5 fighter and Former WEC Champ Gabe Ruediger and Spencer Fisher.
Hermes is VERY heavy handed to complement his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and is always dangerous. I was given a few different fight options, but thought the fight with Hermes would be the most challenging and most exciting.

Live near Omaha and need tickets to UFN?

If you live near Omaha and do not have tickets for tomorrow nights Ultimate Fight Night… send me a myspace message and tell me why you deserve tickets.
I have 2 or 4 extra tickets. I think we are going to give away 2 tonight to someone we bump into, and then will have two more for myspace. If we dont end up giving away any tonight, I will end up giving away all 4 on mySpace. They are not expensive tickets but you will be sitting with my friends and I will definitely be stopping over after my fight.
Spread the word… has to be someone that is on my friends list… if you arent already a friend, you better be sending a friend request first!
